What an awesome oppurtunity! We had the great honor of hosting about 30 precious women this past Friday for a luncheon. These are a few of our widows in St.Francisville that we are so blessed to get to spend time with. We started our widows ministry a little over a year ago with two ladies in our own congregation. It has grown to over 40 ladies that we minister too. We cut grass & clean yards all summer long and then in the winter time we host them for lunch once a month. This was our second Christmas Dinner and man has it grown! Hopefully we will have to find a new location next year because of growth!
Thanks to Lori McCallum and Lynn McCain for putting it all together and to my main man Mike McCain for providing the entertainment (song & humor). Also want to thank all those who helped provide the food as well as the service! Couldn't have done it with out you!
