DIG DEEP

I took this picture of my little girl this morning. She loves cereal for breakfast. Her favorite is any kind that has marshmellows in it. Come on you know that as a kid you loved them too. Heck I'm 38 and still love them even though I know they aren't good for me. Anyway, She ate all the ones that were on top and visible to her. When she didn't see anymore she decided to dig below the surface and low and behold she found some. Now you may know whereI'm going with this. How many times has God tried to show us something great for our life and we have totally missed it because it wasn't on the surface or because we didn't like what we saw on the surface? If we will put forth the effort to dig a little deeper there's no telling what we will find. It may well be the answer to a question we have been seeking or a while. It may well be the person God wants us to invest in and disciple. It may be the revelation that changes our life forever. Just a thought.
