IN THE QUIET PLACE

Just gettin things ready for early morning prayer week two. I was puttin on a pot of coffee and glanced back into the sanctuary where we meet for prayer and the Lord spoke to me and said 'In the stillness I am there' Now this was not some loud ringing voice from the Heavens, this was that still small voice that HE so often speaks in and it was like HE was telling me that HE's always here when we show up waiting to spend time with us. Man can you get your hands around that? The God that made the heavens and earth, the God that still heals the sick and raises the dead both spiritually and physically, the God that holds this big ole' world in the palm of HIS hands wants so badly to spend time with us?! That just blows my mind. HE waits with anticipation at the place we plan to meet with HIM so HE can spend time with us and impart some great truth into our lives or maybe just to let us know everything is gonna be alright. I love this life. God is so awesome.
