BLAST FROM THE PAST

Man this has been a great day. We had a tremendous time in our staff meeting today as all of our HPC team came together for a time of impartation. We got to hear a great message from Pastor TD Jakes on leadership. One of the best messages I've ever heard. I will be chewing on this one for a while. Then I got to go lunch with my wife. We were kickin' old school at the Sizzler' I know I will get raged pretty hard for that one but hey it was good. But the highlight was getting to see a lady by the name of Mrs.Jackson. This was my elementary school bus driver. She was a woman of God can I tell you. To punish those who acted up on the bus,she would make you sit behind her and then you had to read a passage of scripture the whole way to schol or the whole way home. She had the fire of God in her and had no fear of man. She really imparted a lot in my life in the four years that I rode her bus. She is still preaching the Word and is still just as fired up as she was when I rode her bus. The sad thing is that if she would do that on a public school bus today she would get fired. She told me that she retired just in time. She is still a huge blessing and she still shines Jesus. Thank you Mrs.Jackson for staying steady.

Don't you just love people like that who stand in your memory. They make such huge impressions upon us, especially in our foundation years. Props to Mrs. Jackson for planting seeds in Pastor Timmy's life. You rock Pastor Timmy. Frannyville is totally blessed to have you and your family. We miss you, but are so thankful that HPC has family in so many cool places. I hope we continue to grow in number and in location. We need more HPC brothers and sisters. Have a blessed week.
